TRANSPORTATION AND MAINTENANCE SECTOR:

Establishment:

The sector was established in 1991 to cope with the growing commercial industrial and economic activities of the corporation. The sector provides its services through a big fleet of 195 units.

Components of the transportation fleet: The sector includes a land transportation fleet and has a complete central workshop and branch maintenance units in Sana'a, Hodeidah, Taiz and Aden to maintain the transportation fleet. In addition to the central workshop,3mobiIe workshops are operations. The fleet consists of: 1. 100 truck and trailer for the transportation of liquefied gas (DAF). 2. 50 new trucks (Mercedes).   3. 45 big and medium trucks 2-10 tons. Services of the sector: The sector provides its services in the following fields: 1. Serving different sectors of the corporation in terms of transporting food. stuffs, agricultural products...etc.  2. Transportation of gas to all governorates of the Republic. 3. Provide transportation services for clients in different agencies.
